How to choose nail oil: essential oil for strengthening nails and healthy cuticles, recipes

Beautiful hands are the calling card of a well-groomed woman. There is nothing more attractive than strong, well-shaped nails that shine with a healthy shine. This detail will not go unnoticed, because natural manicure is always in fashion. But due to a lack of vitamins, daily household chores and frequent application of decorative varnish, nail plates can become fragile. In addition, in particularly advanced cases, nails can suffer from fungal diseases. Natural essential oils will help get rid of these troubles and restore the health of your nails and cuticles.

Features of using essential oils:

All oils are different, therefore, not all can be used in their pure form.
There are various recommendations that you should know before use. So, some oils are rubbed undiluted into the nails, the effect when used this way is stronger, but still, for example, highly concentrated esters are used in masks, mixtures, compresses, baths, etc.

Here, for example, is one way:

A cotton napkin is moistened with a mixture of base and ether (oil), which is heated to a certain comfortable temperature, after which it is applied to the nails and then wrapped around the fingertips. A plastic film and then a thick towel are put on top. This mask should be kept on for 15-20 minutes.

Applications using essential oils for nails are also very effective and are easy to do at home. They are usually made using bergomot oil, which, due to its properties, strengthens the nail plate: 3 potassium ether per 5 ml of base.

The procedure is done as follows:

First, wash your hands, then rub the prepared mixture into your nails, skin and cuticles, then wrap it in film and hold it for 5 minutes. Afterwards, wash off the mask with warm water without using soap and pat dry with a towel.

  4. Essential oils for nails and cuticles are not recommended for use before extensions or varnishing.
  5. Experts recommend aromatherapy 2 times a week. In addition, the oil composition can be applied after all cosmetic procedures.
  6. If there are serious injuries on the hands, deep wounds or inflammatory processes, it is better to postpone therapy until complete healing.
  7. It is recommended to purchase any oil compositions for strengthening or against dryness in specialized stores. They must be of high quality and reliable.
  8. The oil composition should be applied in the evening, before bed, with massage movements to the base of the nail plate.

To improve the condition of your hands, experts recommend using not only essential oils for strengthening and growth. Together with them, basic means should be used in complex therapy. In this way you can achieve a healing effect.

The use of castor, olive, almond, apricot, almond, burdock or wheat base oil helps soften, moisturize, and strengthen the nail plate and cuticle. These natural remedies have healing properties.

The use of basic ones in combination with essential compositions contributes not only to good care of the cuticle or nail plate, but also to their restoration. Aromatherapy helps strengthen weak nails, brighten them, and give them a natural shine. Thanks to essential oils, caring for your hands is comfortable and pleasant.

How to save nails from splitting

  1. When treating your nails, avoid using scissors if possible. Use a nail file for these purposes.
  2. Treat nails only when dry.
  3. Be sure to use a base coat before applying polish. It has several functions: preparing the nail surface for applying varnish, treatment, strengthening, protecting the nail plate from the appearance of a yellowish tint. In addition, due to it, the varnish lasts longer.
