I didn’t like this method at all - after 3-4 days, the coating was peeling off and it all looked strange, to put it mildly. I used this method for about 1-1.5 months - there was no result: my nails grew a couple of mm, peeled off, I cut them off at the root, and so on in a circle.

SECOND. Apply 1-2 layers of UE before manicure, 1 layer after it.

I still use this method, I like it better, because I don’t have to walk around with bare, colorless nails, and thanks to colored varnish, my nails peel less (I’ve noticed this fact a long time ago). Also, what’s a plus is that you don’t have to bother every day. I don’t use it as a top UE.

As I already noticed, when my nails were on edge, this product did not help me. Not a bit. No matter how much I would like this. Later, when I returned to my city, the condition of my cuticles and nails improved dramatically. Also, at that time, 1.5 months had already passed since I took vitamins, and I think this also affected the result. Now I continue to use UE under colored polish, I noticed that my nails began to peel and break less (previously I constantly had to cut all my nails, because on my big toes they broke right at the base). But again, I don’t think that this is her merit (but rather the vitamins + baths with sea salt + spring). Unfortunately, it is impossible to reliably know what causes the effect, so I won’t criticize the enamel too much. Although even now, when my nails are in more or less decent condition, I don’t notice any super-fast nail growth. Everything is as usual.

By the way, I wanted to make a photo report BEFORE and AFTER, everything is as it should be... But the BEFORE and AFTER were not at all different - in both versions the results were flaky shorts.

This is how my nails look now, but I repeat - this is not the merit of this strengthener. My nails are not too long, because they grow slowly, but I don’t like very long ones.

When applied, UE gives a glossy finish like any clear varnish.

Verdict

The manufacturer's promises are not fulfilled at all - nail growth has not accelerated, and the peeling and brittleness of nails has not completely stopped. It’s also not ideal as a base - nail polish can still turn yellow (although it doesn’t affect the durability of the manicure, like other girls’, either positively or negatively). I won’t recommend it to you, I myself will use the bottle to the end and try something else.

I give it 3 points, because there is nothing special to praise. It didn’t make it worse, but no miracle happened either.

Reviews of “Smart Enamel” for nails note that previously the product was of higher quality. Now he is increasingly upsetting his fans. Speculation is being made about it being a fake. But is this the point? The composition has constantly changed over the years: first, formaldehyde was eliminated and replaced with formaldehyde resin, later film formers and pigments were changed, and oils were added. It can be seen that manufacturers are trying to find an effective formula that will protect and strengthen nails.

It’s a little confusing that this product is bottled in Pushchino, near Moscow, where the production space is occupied by French Products LLC. What does the USA have to do with it? Domestic products. But the product does have one positive property: if you take care of your nails, they will definitely become better. This enamel may be a placebo, but then it is undoubtedly smart!
