After drying, a sticky top layer remains, which can be easily removed with a brush. Otherwise, the layers will be uneven and will flow into the corners. Colored varnish, for greater reliability, is applied in 3 thin layers (each layer must be dried). Note that dark shades are painted unevenly, but this is easily compensated for by subsequent layers. We advise you to remove the sticky layer each time with a brush or napkin, as it promotes a thinner and more even coloring. White varnish is somewhat denser and should be applied in 1-2 layers and, to prevent yellowing, it is dried much faster (up to 90 seconds), and the finishing layer should be thicker than the colored one.
Before working with French, it is recommended to practice with regular varnish, distributing it from the center to the corners. Very little varnish is required for the brushes. After this practice, you will be able to draw any drawing with gel.
Scotch tape or a stencil makes everything much easier. You stick it on, paint the desired area and remove it until it dries. French can be applied both to an unpainted nail and to a colored base.
